Just a stroll around the beautiful, old city itself is a delight. Admire the architecture, or perhaps you fancy a walk along the sand. Edinburgh has that too! Only a short drive and you can be on the shores of Cramond, a small beach where, at low tide, you can cross the causeway to Cramond Island.
Edinburgh is also well known for its festivals. Visit in August and you can be entertained by arts and cultural events from around the world.
Some say that New York is the city that never sleeps, we think Edinburgh could soon take that title!
