Egypt: An Oasis of a Holiday

For a truly exotic holiday experience, we have come up with an itinerary that will seem like the most heavenly oasis amidst a desert of regular vacations. A tour of Egypt’s most interesting attractions will give everything you need and more so when travelling with your own vehicle!

Start by the Mediterranean coastline and get to know Alexandria, know as the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”, an ancient city full of great modern sights.

From there, take the opportunity to discover Nile Valley and head on with your car hire in Cairo, where you can marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza as well as a ton of ancient artefacts at the Egyptian Museum or enjoy a stroll through one of the city’s medieval markets. Beware of scams and never give up when fighting for a bargain!

To soak up some sun and venture on water-related activities, no other city does it better than the one boasting the most famous spas in all of Egypt. Driving with your car hire to Sharm El Sheik will allow you to enjoy such water sports and fun activities as diving, snorkelling, parasailing or even parachuting!

The nearby coral reefs make for a great underwater exploration experience and the town is close enough for you to also enjoy a safari ride along the Sinai desert. So many reasons that make Sharm El Sheik a memorable holiday destination, you won’t even be able to count them through your fingers!

At this point, you already have quite an array of unbelievable experiences to tell once you get back home but you better not miss out on the most important one: a safari tour on the Sinai desert is great to open the appetite but going on a safari through the White desert sands, so called due to its huge chalk rock formations, now that’s quite another challenge!

Sure, you can browse through our wide vehicle range for the most affordable 4×4 vehicles available for car hire in Egypt but trust us… the expertise of a tour agent on this situation will be more than welcome and sadly enough – for us – their cars are much more adapted to this kind of terrain! You can choose stays from 1 to 20 nights, depending on what you consider to be enough for your particular excursion but however long, you won’t be disappointed.

And who of you, fellow travellers, have already been to Egypt? Did it make you thirsty for more, any neat travel suggestions you’d like to share? Spill it all on our comment box!
